In EMEA region, Mizuno has several local country offices around Europe as well as a wide network of distributors representing the brand in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Based from the Rotterdam office, as E-Commerce Manager you will lead a team of professionals and accelerate the growth of Mizuno’s European E-Commerce business.

For Mizuno, E-commerce activities are the key focus to generate the ultimate customer experience. In order to create a seamless customer journey, you work closely with the local European country managers, as well as with the European marketing team to make sure we provide solutions tailored to each specific market and sports category.

You will be continuously developing and managing a capable and enthusiastic internal team of experts based in Rotterdam (6 fte). Next to the internal team, you work closely with several external specialized partners (Sales Force CC platform development, Marketing and Logistics)

You will report directly to the General Manager Central Europe and will be the first contact point for Mizuno’s global E-commerce team in Japan.

Role Expectations

As E-Commerce Manager you will be responsible for the entire E-commerce P&L. With both your commercial drive and management capabilities, to reach the targets set we ask from you to:  

  • Be responsible to elevate and dynamically grow the business according to Mizuno brand quality standards
  • Make sure the existing Sales Force Commerce Cloud and Marketing Cloud platforms are constantly maintained and further developed (budget and use of)
  • Be responsible for creating and executing the yearly roadmap together with our development agency. 
  • Develop an integrated strategy with existing B2B activities (i.e. Marketplaces)

  • Constantly optimize our business processes on cost efficient manner

  • Further expand our customer loyalty program 

  • Lead interactive and creative marketing campaigns.

  • Have a strong commercial sense for sale and marketing campaigns. 

  •  

    Be carrying out the main tasks from a high entrepreneurial and commercial point of view, taking into account the realization of a premium online brand experience

On top of that, the E-Commerce team also provide support to several Pan European online Key accounts. 

About you

The ideal candidate:

  • Has completed a relevant higher education/ university degree;

  • Has minimum 10 years’ experience with 5+ years in a management role in E-commerce, with overall profit-center experience and P&L responsibilities;

  • Has proven experience with Salesforce Commerce & Marketing Cloud or similar;

  • Has knowledge of the latest E-commerce developments around the world;

  • Has organizational awareness and sensitivity;

  • Is entrepreneurial and highly result-oriented.

  • Has experience in or feeling with generating business based on a premium online brand experience;

  • Is fluently in English and preferably Dutch; 

  • Is available within 1-2 months
